The Kulp Interface Explained (Prompt, Features, Preview, Publish)

A quick guide to what you’ll see inside your project workspace - so you always know where to click and what it means.

Whether you’re typing your first prompt or publishing your finished tool, Kulp’s interface is designed to stay clear, focused, and beginner-friendly. Here’s a breakdown of the four key areas you'll interact with.

1. Prompt Input Area

This is where you tell Kulp what you want to build.

You can:

  • Type your idea (e.g., “Build a CRM for lead tracking”)

  • Speak it using the voice icon (perfect for quick thoughts on the go)

  • See sample prompts and tips for inspiration

This is the first screen you'll see when you start a new project.

2. Feature Suggestions & Prompt Enhancer

After you submit your prompt, Kulp helps you fine-tune your idea and pick features.

This section includes:

  • The “Enhance Prompt” button, which helps clarify and expand your idea

  • A feature suggestion panel, based on your prompt

(e.g., “Add login system,” “Include dashboard,” “Enable payments”)

  • The ability to add your own features or instructions

This helps Kulp generate software that’s more aligned with your specific use case.

3. Plans Dashboard (Your Build Plan)

Once you confirm the prompt and features, you enter the Plans Dashboard - your main workspace.

You’ll see:

  • A step-by-step Build Plan (modules/features broken down by task)

  • A “Generate” button next to each module

  • A list of what’s completed, in progress, or left to build

  • Tools like Prompt Again, Fix the Issue, and Add Integration

Think of this as your “mission control” - everything happens from here.

4. Live Preview Window

As you generate features, Kulp builds your tool and displays it here in real time.

You can:

  • Interact with the actual UI of your app (click buttons, fill forms, navigate)

  • Test features as they are generated

  • Refresh or update the preview as you build

The preview updates automatically with each new module you generate.

5. Publish Panel

Once your tool is ready, click the “Make it Live” button (usually in the top right or sidebar).

From here you can:

  • connect your own custom domain (available on paid plans)

  • View and manage your published project anytime

Optional Panels You Might See

Depending on what you're building, Kulp may also show you:

  • An Error Panel (for quick debugging)

  • An Integration Panel (for services like Supabase)

  • Custom instructions sections during more complex builds

You’re Always in Control

Kulp’s interface is designed to:

  • Show only what you need, when you need it

  • Let you build in a linear, guided flow from idea to launch

  • Make it easy to go back, adjust, and refine at any time
