How do I publish my Kulp project?
Once you’ve finished building your project, go to the “Make it Live” section in your project dashboard.
There, you’ll be able to publish your project and begin the domain setup process.
Is there a free subdomain option?
Yes, a free system-provided subdomain is available. To publish your site with a custom domain, a PRO plan is required.
How do I connect my custom domain?
You’ll need to:
Have a paid PRO plan
Own a domain name (from a provider like GoDaddy, Hostinger, etc.)
Enter your domain inside the “Make it Live” tab
Follow the instructions to update your domain’s DNS records as given in the articles under publishing and sharing
Once DNS changes are made, your project will be published under your own domain using fly.io infrastructure.
How long does it take for my domain to go live?
DNS changes typically propagate within a few minutes, but it can take up to 24–48 hours depending on your provider.
Can I change my domain later?
Yes. You can update or change the connected domain at any time from the “Make it Live” settings. Just update your DNS settings accordingly.
Do I need to manage hosting separately?
Nope. Kulp handles deployment and hosting behind the scenes via fly.io. You just need a domain name and an active plan.
Can I preview my project before publishing?
Yes. As soon as you generate your first features, Kulp provides a live preview of the app ; even before it’s published. You can continue editing and iterating before going live.
